Guide Dog-By Harrison

Today we had a guest speaker come in. His name was Steve and he is blind. He has a dog named Pesto. The dog helps Steve know where he is going. He is a guide for Steve. 

Pesto knows commands like Right, Left, Sit, Stay, and Forward. 

Steve brought a harness from his old dog and his cane to pass around. 

If you see a guide dog, you should always ask the person who owns it if you can pet the dog. The dog is doing its job and might get confused if you pet it. He might get off task. 

We had a great afternoon with Steve and Pesto.
