Announcements
It was a hot four days, but so much fun! We spent the majority of the week getting to know one another and building a class community. Next week, we will begin many of our academic units, but still have time to share with each other and practice routines. Here are our fabulous 3rd graders!
Mrs. Bukowsky also took this picture from their first media class.
The Comet Carnival is quickly approaching! We will be sending out more information soon, but the theme for our class basket is Gift Cards. Feel free to send in any gift cards, and I will keep them for our class basket!
Homework-Students are expected to read for at least 20 minutes each night. Sometimes, they will have test reviews or incomplete work to finish at home. Starting in September, I will be sending home optional homework packets to be completed and turned in at the end of the month.
In the Classroom
We used Play-doh to create things that represented us such as our favorite animal, month of our birthday, and how we felt about the first day of school.
We took a tour of our classroom and then did a scavenger hunt with a partner!
Thank you for helping with the Me Museum project! It was great getting to see what everyone brought to share with their classmates.
