It has been a fabulous 4 days here in room 215! We have spent this week getting to know each other and our classroom. On Monday, we will start more academic tasks, but will still continue to build our class community. I know it is going to be a wonderful year!
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 31 at 6:30. You will begin with the PTA meeting in the gym followed by a presentation in the classroom. There will also be time for questions. All teachers will hold 3, 15 minute sessions so you can attend multiple classrooms. If you will not be able to attend, your 3rd grader will bring home the information on Wednesday.

I have learned so much about these third graders this week! Here are just a few pictures of the activities we have done.
The students did a fabulous job with the Me Museum homework project! We spent some time exploring the exhibits and then each student got to share their items and cards with the class.
